The Womb Meditation Center in Pai, Thailand

The Womb is an experimental living community which is centered around love, meditation and the courage to discover one’s own individual truth. The Womb is an open place which allows friends and strangers to explore one’s own interior, creativity and love for life. The Womb can give birth to the spiritual self. The Womb can be the place where you experience being pregnant with life, a place to become whole, contained and rooted in yourself.  

The center is new. We started in February 2010, with a beautiful piece of land surrounded by nature. The center is growing day by day and our website is also still in its first steps. Come and join us.

About Pranesh

Pranesh has led Meditation Retreats in India, Russia, Mongolia, Europe and Mexico. He lived for 20 years on the Indian subcontinent, visiting many monasteries in India, Nepal and Tibet, and spent long periods in the Himalayas doing personal retreats. The influence of the mystic Osho led him to work more and more with the unknown and the unknowable. 

Weekly Meditations & Classes

Osho Kundalini Meditation

Thursdays 6:00pm – 7:30pm 

This is an active meditation where you allow your whole body to shake and dance. Your whole being and the body become liquid, fluid. When the whole body is shaking you become free of tension.  

Vipassana Meditation

You’re welcome to join! Doors close at 6:00pm. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early. Meditations and classes are 120 Baht each or purchase a 6 class pass for only 600 Baht. Complimentary tea is served following all meditations/classes. Join us for a healthy, vegetarian dinner on the evenings following classes/meditations for only 100 Baht.

How to Find Us

 We are in the north of Thailand 3 hours by car north/east of Chaing Mai. Chaing Mai is also refered to as the second capital of Thailand. The Road (first #107 then #1095) from Chaing Mai to Mae Hong Son city leads through the mountain village of Pai.,an idyllic place half way on this route.

We are 3 Km just after Pai still in the same direction of Mae Hong Son city. Immediately after the Airport, turn right. (Look for the yellow signs, marked The Womb). The road runs parallel with the airport landing strip. Drive 1.5 km and you will reach the Baan Maekong village. Keep going until you arrive at the T-crossing (Look for the yellow signs marked The Womb). Here turn left and drive up the hill. Follow the road for about 500 meters (Look for yellow sings marked The Womb) Turn right and go down the dirt road which will end at our center.
